Oceanfront 14 acres, Banks Road, Inverness ...... $975,000

This 14 +/- acre property runs from the paved Banks Road to the ocean, just over a mile from the centre of the town of Inverness. Partly cleared, wooded along the edges and on the lower half, there are lovely ocean views from almost everywhere on the land. This view is immediately after turning off the Banks Road:

A wonderful home site so close to town, also with great potential to host multiple residences.

There are currently three cabins on the property, of which the main one - occupied by the owner evey year seasonally - has power and water and high speed FibreOp internet.

A particular feature of the terrain here is that the land slopes down to the ocean in a series of what could be called “benches” like this:

Three or four relatively level areas are separated by shorter steeper intervals.

The effect of this is that lower levels are largely invisible from higher up. For instance the main cabin is not visible from the first field off the highway. An ideal topography for development: homes, cottages, whatever on one level will not intrude into the view of those on another level.

Municipal water is available, though the cabin is using a large well. Power has been brought onto the property.

The ocean frontage of the property is a cliff which is hard to access. An old trail mostly disappeared, and the brush was almost impassable. The owner is currently opening up the old road and is in the process of clearing a level area near the shore. More work will have been done since this photo:

When you do get to the waterfront, the coastline stretches around to the north.

These two photos above and more included below were taken standing on the property. Photos taken by drone are separately identified.

There is nothing like this property so close to, or really IN, the town of Inverness.

Location

A truly unequalled location, this place is a minute or two from the busy heart of Inverness, yet when you get here you are in a rural setting of many acres, peaceful and secluded.
