This property is a well-maintained 1980s bungalow on 2.3 acres with wonderful commanding views over the Margaree River Valley. Here’s one from the front steps - hard to get tired of this:
Home
During their ownership these sellers have renovated most aspects of the home. There are now two bedrooms after one was absorbed into expanding the bathroom, which now features a soaker air jet tub and a tiled shower, along with laundry.
Sleek kitchen cabinetry with 'water fall' butcher block counters and stainless and black appliances give the kitchen a chic, urban feel. A mix of hardwood and 'plank' floors throughout the main are easy to maintain, especially with the central vac.
An airtight woodstove adds both charm and cost-efficient year round heating. Recently added heat pumps, on both the main and the basement level, provide heating, cooling and dehumidifying.
A self contained office, accessed only from outside, provides a secure, private space where you can leave it all behind at days end.
Over 1000 sq ft. of living space on the main floor. The full basement is mostly finished, with a kids room, a room with pool table and other spaces currently used for storage. Lots of room for expansion.
Cell service is good, with super-fast FibreOp internet service. Septic system and a well for the house only.
Barn
The 28 x 30 horse barn, constructed in 2019, is a whole other story! Built on a concrete foundation, with concrete floor and metal roof, it is wired, has its own well, a heated tack room, hay loft, 3 box stalls, a wash stall and a work shop area. Ground level access to the loft at the rear.
Turn-out space on the upper field - the horses can come and go freely. There is a henhouse, also a child’s tree house!
